# LeadTime Desk

> LeadTime Desk is a long-lead equipment expediting desk for US electrical contractors, electrical distributors and generator and UPS dealers. It keeps one register of every switchgear, transformer, generator and UPS order, reads vendor emails for date changes, flags slips against required-on-site dates and drafts the chases the client's buyer sends. Run by Mike Rodgers, Denver, Colorado. Serves the United States remotely.

## Offer and prices
- Long-Lead Check (the sample run): $1,500 fixed. One project, up to 50 open long-lead PO lines and 90 days of vendor emails. Report 10 business days after the exports arrive. The report is the client's to keep.
- Build: $6,000 one time, 4 weeks, including 2 weeks of parallel run beside the client's buyer and an acceptance test.
- Monthly run: $1,500 a month, up to 3 active projects and 150 open long-lead lines. Month to month, 30 days notice.
- Credit: the $1,500 comes off the build setup if the build is signed within 30 days of the Long-Lead Check report.
- All prices are confirmed in a written statement of work before work starts.

## Audience
Electrical contractors, electrical distributors, and generator and UPS dealers in the United States with long-lead gear on data center, mission critical and industrial jobs. The buyer is a procurement manager or operations VP.

## What correct looks like (the rulebook)
1. Every listed open long-lead PO line appears in the register with PO, line, item, vendor, ERP date, the vendor's latest written date and the required-on-site date.
2. Every vendor date cites the email and the exact sentence it came from.
3. A date that cannot be read with certainty is marked "not read". It is never guessed.
4. Float = required-on-site date minus (vendor ship date plus transit days). Every line under the client's threshold is on the slip list.
5. Nothing is sent to a vendor, GC or owner by LeadTime Desk.

## Boundaries (what this is not)
Not a vendor contact service: the client's buyer sends every chase. Does not place, change or cancel orders, write to the ERP, pay expedite fees, source alternates, book freight, attend factory tests or update P6 or MS Project schedules. No delivery date, schedule result or savings is guaranteed. No client results are claimed.

## Data handling
Models run on hardware the operator owns by default; a third-party model API is used only if the client opts in writing. Client documents are not used to train any model. The client owns its data and outputs. Files are deleted within 30 days of the end of the engagement, with written confirmation.
